How AdriaMeridian handles personal data, and the formal disclosures required for operating this website.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20261. Who We Are
AdriaMeridian is an independent M&A advisory firm operating across the Adriatic corridor and wider Europe. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or contact us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
2. What We Collect
- Correspondence you send us — if you email or call us, we hold your name, contact details, and the content of that correspondence. This website has no contact form and collects nothing from you automatically beyond the analytics below.
- Website analytics — aggregated, cookieless usage data (pages viewed, referring source, general region) collected via a privacy-first analytics service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing scripts.
3. How We Use It
We use the information you send us solely to respond to your inquiry and, where a mandate proceeds, to provide advisory services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process the contact details and correspondence you send us on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a business inquiry) or, once a mandate is engaged, contractual necessity.
5. Data Retention
Correspondence that does not result in an engagement is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records related to an active or completed mandate are retained in line with applicable professional and regulatory record-keeping requirements.
6. Third Parties
We use a small number of service providers to operate this website and our email — hosting, email, and privacy-first analytics. These providers process data only on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
7. Your Rights
If GDPR or an equivalent regional data protection law applies to you, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Analytics are collected on a cookieless basis, which is why no cookie consent banner is shown.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent revision.
